La Marielita Old FashionED

That Little girl that lives inside of us, who is wiser and stronger than we give her credit for.
Ingredients
2 oz, La Marielita Rum
1/2 oz, Demerara Syrup (may substitute with Simple Syrup)
1/4 oz, Bittermilk – Bourbon Barrel Aged Old Fashioned (may substitute with Coffee Bitters or Chocolate/Mole Bitters)
2 Dashes of Orange Bitters or 1/2 tsp. of Orange Liqueur
Orange peel for garnish
(Maraschino Cherry for garnish as well, if desired)
Instructions
Place main ingredients in a Mixing Glass filled with ice and stir.
Strain into a Low-Ball Glass with a large ice cube.
Cut orange peel and trace around rim, then place peel in glass with a Maraschino Cherry (if desired).
